Taylor Sarman, a senior at Union High School in Union, Oregon is honored to serve the over 250,000 members of FBLA as our National President. Taylor’s experiences range all across the local, state, and national level of FBLA. As a three year local officer, State President and State Executive Vice President, and as a member of the Western Region Executive Board, National Treasurer’s Council, and National President’s Assistants, Taylor brings an extensive background with him as National President. Taylor is confident that our organization has a very bright future ahead of it and looks forward to expanding his passion for FBLA to other people and providing students across nation with the same opportunities he has been lucky enough to experience.

Your National Secretary, McKenna Murray, is a senior at Advanced Technologies Academy in Las Vegas, Nevada. She served as her chapter’s secretary last year and currently serves as the Nevada FBLA State Executive Vice President. She was a Top Ten Finalist in the 2010 Environmental Youth Essay Contest and has placed at the state level in the following FBLA events: Emerging Business Issues, Business Presentation and Health Care Administration. In addition to FBLA, she also is a member of the National Honor Society. McKenna is looking forward to helping FBLA members across the National discover the Gateway to Greatness!

Drew Marx, a senior at Sauk Prairie High School in Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin, is thrilled to serve as your National Treasurer. After experiencing his first National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California he was inspired to take part and make a difference in the organization. Acting on his passion for FBLA, he has served as Local Chapter President and Treasurer, the North Central Region Treasurer, and also the Executive Treasurer on the National Treasurer’s Council. He hopes to continue forging partnerships between FBLA and businesses across the country while also showing high school students what their potential is by joining the oldest and largest student business organization in the world!

Nadine Goldberg, your National Parliamentarian, is a senior at Miami Beach Senior High School in Miami Beach, Florida. She first joined FBLA when a friend needed one more member for a team, and she has never looked back. Having served as parliamentarian for her local chapter and now for Florida FBLA, she is excited to continue sharing her appreciation for parliamentary procedure. Nadine is also involved in her school newspaper, her school’s philanthropic organization, her temple youth group, and her coral reef education project. She is thrilled to play a part in making FBLA your Gateway to Greatness!

Hasher Nisar is a senior at Cheshire High School in Connecticut. He moved back to the United States from Pakistan in 2008. FBLA was one of the first organizations he got involved with which helped him grow as a person, make new friends, and acclimate into the culture. He served as the CHS FBLA Fundraising Committee Chairman and State Secretary. He was elected as State President for the 2011-2012 term. In addition, Hasher serves as the Vice Executive Director of the Enough Foundation and is Class President. He looks forward to improving communication, increasing membership, and strengthening the FBLA programs!

Whitni Redman, a senior at Holyoke High School in Holyoke, Colorado, serves as your Mountain Plains Region Vice President. An active member in FBLA since her freshman year, she also serves as her local chapter’s Ex-Officio and Colorado’s State Executive Vice President. She has competed and placed on the local, state, and national level. Whitni is looking forward to a great year full of communication within the region and cooperation with the Middle Level. She is excited for her final year in FBLA, and looks forward to representing the Mountain Plains region at the national level and leading it's members through The Gateway to Greatness!

Alex Blodgett, your 2011-2012 North Central Region Vice-President, hails from a small town in North Missouri. Outside of FBLA, she plays basketball, softball, and runs track, as well as participating in numerous other organizations, including holding the title of Vice-President of Macon High School Student Council, and 4 year Class President. She has been involved with FBLA since her freshman year of high school, serving as her Chapter President, District President, and serving on the North Central Region Executive Board. Alex loves everything about this organization, and is ecstatic to be serving on your National Leadership Team. She looks forward to meeting new people, sharing ideas, and helping to lead FBLA-PBL to a successful year!

Being elected Southern Region Vice President is a dream come true for Tony Jones, a senior at Southside High School in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Seeing a chance to better himself and his community, Tony takes advantage of opportunities provided by FBLA. He is a local, district, state, and national officer, and former national competitor. Tony is also a Boy Scout, band section leader, and business manager of his school’s newspaper. This year, he hopes to open incomparable gateways for our members.

Aaron Wodka, a member of the class of 2012 at Nogales High School in Arizona, has the honor and privilege of serving as your National Western Region Vice President. Aaron has remained actively involved in FBLA for four years. He is a two term chapter President, two term state officer; more recently serving as State President, two term National Western Region Board member and as well as being a National Presidents Assistant. Aaron is a state champion in FBL, Job Interview, and Principals and Procedures as well as placing in a variety of other events. For the coming year Aaron aspires to launch national programs innovatively utilizing our virtual technology! He is excited to see members unlock their Gateway to Greatness!
